“…Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle.”

News summary for the nation:
This has been a busy week of court proceedings for President Donald Trump. He appeared in New York on Thursday for a hearing in the “hush money” case that has been brought by NY District Attorney Alvin Bragg. A trial date has been set for March 25, 2024.
In Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis gave a wild and angry witness testimony regarding accusations of an alleged improper relationship she had with a man she hired to prosecute President Trump, which may have resulted in financial boons for herself and her lover. She repeatedly accused attorney Ashleigh Merchant of lying and, at one point, began yelling, “IT IS A LIE!” from the witness stand. The judge warned her to control herself on more than one occasion.
President Trump received a staggering ruling from New York Judge Arthur Engoron on Friday. Trump alleged earlier this week that the fix was in and wrote on Truth Social, “THIS CROOKED JUDGEMENT WILL BE A DARK AND SAD DAY FOR THE JUSTICE SYSTEM IN NEW YORK STATE.”
Engoron’s ruling was overwhelmingly dramatic. He ordered Trump to pay $350 million and effectively banned the president from the New York real estate industry for at least three years. His sons were also fined millions of dollars. Trump will strongly appeal.
The case was spearheaded by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who promised to be a “real pain in the ass” to Trump when she campaigned for office.
Important America First bullet points:
Dr. Ben Carson defends Trump and talks Judeo-Christian values. Carson told Kimberly Guilfoyle that Trump had a unifying leadership style. “One of the most important things about Donald Trump is that he believed a rising tide lifts all boats,” he said. He also highlighted the importance of faith in America. He explained, “Our Judeo-Christian values are very important to this country. Our very founding document, the Declaration of Independence, talks about certain inalienable rights given to us by our CREATOR…and that He’s the only one that can take the rights away because He gave them to us.”
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., investigates chilling study. The Florida congresswoman, along with GOP Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., will hold a hearing on why four out of five Americans have been exposed to chloremequat, a toxic chemical identified in products like Cheerios and Quaker Oats, according to a new study. The chemical has been linked to infertility, delayed puberty, and damaging fetal effects.
Trump ally Kid Rock announces the death of his father, Bill Ritchie Sr. He said on X, “My Dad, Bill Ritchie Sr, moved on to be with Jesus yesterday. He was an incredible father, grandfather, great grandfather, and so much more, none shy of being quite the character! Thank you for your condolences in advance. God Bless you and I love you Pop!”
Digital World Acquisition Corp. and Trump Media & Technology Group are set to merge. After two years of waiting, the long-awaited business combination for DWAC and TMTG appears imminent. DWAC announced this week that the SEC had approved their S-4 Registration form, declaring the merger effective. A meeting will soon be set for stockholders to vote on the merger. Pro-Swing Trader postulated that President Trump could make as much as $4 billion on the merger, based on a reported 58 percent stake he holds in the company. It will also give Truth Social access to capital markets.
