LADY JUSTICE WEEPS: The warped communist trial against Trump is a national embarrassment
Convicted felons, porn stars, and George Soros...oh my!
The ongoing “hush money” trial in Manhattan evokes one of two reactions: fascination with the media circus surrounding President Trump, or disgust with the justice system. Perhaps, even a combination of both.
As President Trump sits for weeks on end through an endless trial in the heart of New York City, right in the middle of the general election season, it’s hard to believe that the timing of the case is anything but politically motivated.
“This all comes from Biden and the White House,” Trump told reporters on Monday, maintaining his bold accusation that the DOJ and left-leaning courtroom venues (and their acolytes) are merely doing the bidding of shadowy overlords like George Soros and beyond.
Perhaps at one time such a claim would have been fantastical, but in light of the avalanche of indictments and felony charges in civil, criminal, and federal courts aimed at Trump – which have all serendipitously just happened to hit in the middle of the election season – you can’t help but pause.
We’ve seen lawfare used in countries like Venezuela, Brazil, and Argentina. We’ve seen it in Russia and other governments. And now, we’re seeing it here. Don’t like your political opponent? No worries – indict him, over and over again, in every venue you can find, until they’re so tied up in court and deluged by charges that they’re broke and unable to campaign.
Of course, Trump is neither broke nor unable to campaign – he has found time to fundraise more than ever (GOP Chairman Michael Whatley has said that Trump is raising more than $1 million every day that he sits in court), and his latest rally in New Jersey drew a reported 100,000 (or more) people.

Clearly, these prosecutorial crusades against Trump have served only to make him into a Nelson Mandela-like figure for the embattled Americans crushed under desperate economic conditions – Americans who are looking at the global landscape and rightfully anxious that a world war could erupt at any moment.
It is in the middle of this chaos and misery and pro-Palestinian college campus insanity that the Manhattan case, spearheaded by District Attorney Alvin Bragg, is slowly playing out in excruciating detail, each witness more embarrassing than the last for the prosecution, and each day another example of just how far “justice” has fallen in America.
The case unfairly utilizes Trump’s past against him
On Monday, Michael Cohen took the witness stand to give his version of how supposed “hush money” was paid to Stormy Daniels (the infamous porn actress), as well as an alleged “catch-and-kill” tabloid scheme meant to stop an unflattering story about playboy bunny Karen McDougal and Trump from going to press amidst the president’s then-initial presidential bid.
Michael Cohen was once Donald Trump’s lawyer. It’s safe to say Cohen is eternally on Trump’s “get even” list (read Trump’s books - seriously). Cohen allegedly was the one who paid Stormy Daniels the infamous “hush money” to stop her from selling her story about having sex with Trump to the tabloids. Is the story true? Trump denies it emphatically. “That wouldn’t be the one – there is no one. We have a great First Lady,” the president told a crowd in Waco, Texas, in 2023.
The alleged crime of paying “hush money” is actually a misdemeanor in the state of New York that was resurrected by DA Bragg. The alleged misdemeanor in question (a campaign finance violation, so they say) is also long past the statute of limitations in this case, per law professor Jonathan Turley’s explanation.
Here’s the gist, via Turley’s insightful article on the subject:
“Now Bragg is bringing a case that has taken years to develop and millions of dollars in litigation costs for all parties. That is all over a crime from before the 2016 election that is a misdemeanor under state law that had already expired under the statute of limitations.
Like his predecessor, Bragg previously scoffed at the case. However, two prosecutors, Carey R. Dunne and Mark F. Pomerantz, then resigned and started a public pressure campaign to get New Yorkers to demand prosecution.
Pomerantz shocked many of us by publishing a book on the case against Trump — who was still under investigation and not charged, let alone convicted, of any crime. He did so despite objections from his former colleague that such a book was grossly improper.
Nevertheless, it worked. Bragg brought a Rube Goldberg case that is so convoluted and counterintuitive that even liberal legal analysts criticized it.
Trump paid Daniels to avoid any publicity over their brief alleged affair. As a celebrity, there was ample reason to want to keep the affair quiet, and that does not even include the fact that he is a married man.
It also occurred before the 2016 election and there was clearly a benefit to quash the scandal as a candidate. That political motivation is at the heart of this long-delayed case.”
The reality is this: men in power and men in the spotlight are sometimes put in a position where it’s ultimately easier to “pay off” someone outside of a courtroom than to go through the hell of sitting through a trial based on allegations that could be totally fabricated.
Trump says he’s never had an affair with Daniels.
Unfortunately, his enemies are preying upon his fast-and-furious business lifestyle of yesteryear and his own words to create the viscous conditions of plausibility in this case, regardless of the facts.
Trump was known for many years as a playboy, and in his book, “Think BIG and Kick Ass in Business and in Life,” he openly discussed his love for beautiful women and for sex. Nothing shocking or surprising there – it’s Donald Trump, after all.
"I have been able to date (screw) them all because I have something that many men do not have,” he penned in that book, discussing what the kids these days would call a “body count.” The passage was mostly centered on the importance of having self-confidence in business/life, and always being able to think of yourself as the best-looking or most capable person in any room. (The book, after all, was a motivational guide to “kicking ass.”)
He wrote in his 2004 book, “How to Get Rich": “All the women on The Apprentice flirted with me -- consciously or unconsciously. That's to be expected. A sexual dynamic is always present between people, unless you are asexual.”
According to ABC News, the prosecution has plans to use all of these words against Trump in this trial – not that it has anything to do with the charges of hush money. In fact, the words – and the witnesses themselves – have testified in gritty detail about allegations of Trump’s personality, interactions, and decisions.
Considering Trump’s decades-long and happy marriage to his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, it is wildly unfair to contrast what he said so long ago to who he is now - and to attempt to use it as a form of cruel character assassination to sway a potentially left-leaning jury.
And yet, that’s exactly what we have.
Double standards and lots of dark money
At the end of the day, the trial is about a misdemeanor – why allow Stormy Daniels to take the witness stand, as she did last week, and wax on endlessly about alleged stories regarding her “encounter” with Trump in grotesque sexual detail? It has nothing to do with the case.
Why let Michael Cohen take the witness stand? He is now a convicted felon and an admitted liar. He has been disbarred from practicing law in the state of New York. Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen are the most unreliable witnesses on planet Earth, and yet, the prosecution parades them around as if they are social justice warriors, raging against the very system that has made them famous.
Moreover, Donald Trump is the only person in the trial who is unable to speak about the proceedings (despite the fact that reporters are in the room, parceling out every salacious detail for the world to see). Yes, the defendant has been slapped with an expansive gag order that keeps him from talking about prosecutors, witnesses, jurors, court staff, or their family members. And yet, no one else has been gagged, allowing Michael Cohen, DA Bragg, and Stormy Daniels to have free reign over the narrative promulgated by the hysterical mainstream media.
To make matters worse, presiding Judge Juan Merchan has already found Trump in contempt of court for an alleged ten gag order violations and warned that he would incarcerate the president upon future incursions.
Professor Jonathan Turley recently responded to the gag order, noting, “I mean, he’s closing the door after the horse has gone. I mean, this is the weekend before he appears on the stand. So, I would have expected at a minimum that the judge would have been very clear at the beginning of the case that these witnesses are asked not to make public statements.”
The icing on the cake in this case, perhaps, is twofold: first, Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan, has allegedly raised tens of millions of dollars for Democrat political clients via her political consulting firm (Authentic Campaigns) by utilizing messaging pertaining to her father’s high-profile case with Donald Trump.
(See 154 pages of argumentation and submitted evidence via Trump’s attorneys here.)
Despite Trump’s filed motion for Judge Merchan to recuse himself, the judge has refused. In any sane universe, a recusal would be not only expected, but demanded. Imagine if Hillary Clinton was in court and had to face a judge whose daughter openly fundraised for her political opponent using messaging related to the trial. The double standard is egregious, even by third-world country standards.
The second sucker-punch here is DA Alvin Bragg, who has been linked with taking money from “Color of Change” – a political organization connected directly to George Soros. A report from The Heritage Foundation explained:
‘As we have previously explained, Mr. Soros’ contributions can be difficult to trace because they are often funneled through national and state-level PACs, “527” groups, allied organizations, nonprofits, and a host of other entities.
Mr. Kessler correctly notes that on May 8, 2021, the political arm of Color of Change, a progressive prosecutor front group, endorsed Mr. Bragg for New York County district attorney, and a week later, Mr. Soros gave Color of Change $1 million, who then used part of that money to support Mr. Bragg’s election…
Mr. Soros has directly contributed over $40 million to campaigns and candidates over the past decade. But he has also contributed hundreds of millions of dollars more to organizations that directly and indirectly support the progressive prosecutor movement.
Local district attorney races had tended to be relatively low-visibility and low-dollar affairs. That changed in 2015 when Mr. Soros began pouring seven-plus-figure sums into those contests.’
Oh, and guess what? DA Bragg has managed to fundraise nearly $1 million for his own reelection campaign in New York since the day he indicted Donald Trump in 2023.
All of this seems totally fair and completely normal.
The election is only SIX months away – tune out the noise
With the November 2024 election rapidly approaching, the chaos is ramping up. Campuses are exploding with radical theatrics right on schedule as rumblings of a possible mutated zoonotic avian influenza is poised to be the newest election-year “pandemic.”
The Middle East is being torn apart. Eastern Europe is a firestorm of destruction. China is growing stronger. Iran is moving closer to obtaining a nuclear arsenal. Nearly 15 million illegal migrants have crossed over the U.S. border – many of whom are single, military-aged males from places like China, Venezuela, Iran, Yemen, Somalia, and the Congo.
“Joe Biden…seems determined to create the conditions for an October 7th style attack right here in America – it’s going to happen,” Trump warned ominously in early May, responding to reports that Biden was mulling over the idea of allowing Gazan refugees into the United States.
He continued, “We’re a country that’s so troubled. They will be impossible to vet – as a result of chain migration, the numbers will quickly explode beyond all control.”
Remember all of this when you turn on the news and see the communist show trial unfolding in Manhattan right now. Remember what’s at stake in November – our freedom, our dignity, our sovereignty, and perhaps, our very existence. Catastrophic world war and domestic chaos amidst this foreign invasion is a very real possibility in 2025 and beyond if Trump does not reclaim the White House – and America’s crestfallen “justice” system is doing everything it can to ensure that this bleak future is brought to fruition.
Vote for Trump in November and issue a stunning rebuke to this madness and make America great again.
