Melania Trump returns to campaign trail as DJT widens his lead in 2024 polls
April 5, 2024: The patriot's way to stay informed
Today is: Friday, April 5, 2024
Quote of the day:
“And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind is closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and do it gladly so.”
-Julius Caesar
News summary for the nation:
This week kicked off President Trump’s return to the 2024 campaign trail. He delivered remarks on the dire situation at the southern border in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Tuesday.
Shortly after, he braved frigid Wisconsin weather and held a signature MAGA rally in Green Bay, which was packed out despite the chilly temperatures and ice-laden roads.
He also announced on Tuesday that he would be making an official policy stance announcement on the issue of abortion next week, following the Florida State Supreme Court’s decision to uphold a 15-week abortion ban, which will allow Gov. Ron DeSantis’s six-week ban to go into effect.
Abortion is one of the stickiest political topics in the country, so his stance on the issue will likely determine whether swing voters will be willing to cast their ballots for him.
Via data from Gallup in 2023, only 13 percent of Americans believe that abortion should be illegal in all circumstances.

Trump stands up for “Praying Grandma” who faces prison time. In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote, “Rebecca Lavrez, also known as the ‘J6 Praying Grandma,’ has been unfairly targeted by Crooked Joe Biden’s DOJ, and now faces up to 1 YEAR in prison for peacefully walking around the Capitol, and praying for our Failing Nation on January 6th! Rebecca is a 72-year-old Grandmother and Small Business Owner from Colorado, and now she is one of Joe Biden’s J6 HOSTAGES!!! Crooked Joe Biden spends more time prosecuting Patriots like Rebecca, AND ME, than Violent Criminals, Thugs, Murderers, and ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who are destroying our Country. THIS IS WHAT WE ARE UP AGAINST. MAGA2024!”
