News summary for the nation:
President Donald Trump’s remarks in Dayton, Ohio, over the weekend were egregiously taken out of context by the mainstream media, who reported fallaciously that he had threatened a “bloodbath” in America if he wasn’t elected as the nation’s next president.
The president was referring in context to an economic bloodbath that would befall the American auto industry if Biden were to remain in power into 2025.
“Now, if I don’t get elected it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole [country] - that’s going to be the least of it,” he said.
On Monday, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “The Fake News Media, and their Democrat Partners in the destruction of our Nation, pretended to be shocked at my use of the word BLOODBATH, even though they fully understood that I was simply referring to imports allowed by Crooked Joe Biden, which are killing the automobile industry.”
Even SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk agreed that mainstream legacy outlets deliberately lied about Trump’s comments. “In unison. Tighter coordination than a chorus!” Musk wrote.
