Trump’s poll numbers reach record highs. According to Morning Consult’s latest data tracking the 2024 GOP primary nationwide, Trump has a jaw-dropping 63-point lead over former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley. In the general election, Polymarket’s betting odds give Trump a 16-point advantage over Joe Biden.
Kari Lake rakes in campaign cash. The former Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate is now running for the Arizona U.S. Senate seat in 2024. According to Politico, her campaign has raised $2.1 million in the first quarter of her campaign. She is challenging Congressman Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., as he pivots to a senatorial bid. She will also potentially face incumbent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, I-Ariz., although there have been rumblings that she will not seek reelection.
Texas holds the line in border crisis. 25 red state governors have declared their solidarity with Texas in the Lone Star State’s quest to secure the wide-open southern border. Perhaps most vocal in her support is South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R). She told CNN that she was “keeping all options on the table - including legal action, sending razor wire down to Texas, and supporting Texas with our National Guard.”

Biden seeks pop star endorsement. The New York Times reported that Joe Biden is seeking an endorsement from left-wing media darling Taylor Swift to help him earn the support of American voters. He also plans to, reportedly, focus heavily on abortion in an attempt to win some support in 2024.
U.S. Servicemembers attacked repeatedly. Journalist Laura Seligman shared on X that initial reports on Monday morning seemed to confirm that U.S. troops have been attacked 165 times since the Hamas invasion of Israel on October 17, 2023. “66 in Iraq, 98 in Syria, and once in Jordan[.]”
Music legend appears to do 180 on Trump. Rapper Snoop Dogg inexplicably changes his mind on Trump, telling The Sunday Times that he has “nothing but love and respect” for the Don. Just a few years ago (2017), the rapper filmed a music video in which he shot a clown effigy of Trump in a shockingly hostile criticism of the president. It seems that, for now, the rapper has turned on a dime ahead of the 2024 general election.
Shocking survey reveals 21 percent of mail-in voters admit to election fraud. A December 2023 survey from Rasmussen Reports has found that one in five mail-in voters in the U.S. in 2020 admitted to participating “in at least one form of election fraud.” This amounts to “more than 20% of voters who used mail-in ballots” in 2020.
The border crisis continues. Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin reported that Border Patrol in San Diego experienced more than 1,100 apprehensions on Sunday, “including 97 Chinese nationals, and 91 Turkish nationals. Massive majority, 850+ of the crossings, were single adults.”

The president also noted that the “brazen attack on the United States is yet another horrific and tragic consequence of Joe Biden’s weakness and surrender.”
Trump scorches UAW President Shawn Fain. Trump slammed United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain for endorsing Joe Biden on Sunday night. “He is a real ‘STIFF’ who is selling the Automobile Industry right into the big, powerful, hands of China. 55% of the industry has already left the U.S., and the rest will soon be following if I am not elected President,” he wrote.
E. Jean Carroll preens on television. Predictably, E. Jean Carroll has announced that she plans to use her court-ordered $83.3 million from Trump to help Joe Biden. At this time, there is much speculation as to whether Carroll will actually see a penny of that sum. The president plans to appeal the jury’s shocking verdict. It will play out in the courts.
Trump will make appearances in Nevada and South Carolina. President Trump’s speech and rally schedule has taken a pause this week. He will be making more appearances in Nevada ahead of the Feb. 8 caucus. He has also foreshadowed a slate of potential MAGA rallies in the Palmetto State leading up to their primary, which will deal a final death blow to Nikki Haley’s beleaguered GOP campaign. “Get ready South Carolina, we’re going to have some fun!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
