President Donald Trump is the man of the hour after winning a decisive victory against Nikki Haley in her home state of South Carolina in the Palmetto State’s GOP primary election. Most media outlets declared Trump’s victory less than one minute after the polls closed on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Trump told a South Carolina crowd that the victory was “an even bigger win than we anticipated and I was just informed that we got double the number of votes that has ever been received in the great state of South Carolina.”

Alleged U.S. Air Force member sets himself on fire in front of the Israeli Embassy in D.C. to protest the war between Israel and Palestine. In a bizarre and graphic video uploaded to social media, the servicemember, allegedly identified as Aaron Bushnell, lit himself on fire and self-immolated in front of the embassy, while screaming, “FREE PALESTINE!” Multiple media outlets reported that Bushnell died from his injuries. It is unclear why he really did this or what his state of mind was at the time.
NATO says they will welcome Ukraine into the fold, sparking massive concerns of nuclear war. Russian President Vladimir Putin has made it clear that if Ukraine is welcomed into NATO, this would be unacceptable to his regime. It is expected that Putin would be willing to utilize nuclear weapons to stop this. This is seen as a rapid escalation toward nuclear war by many.
President Trump and Joe Biden will both visit the Southern Border. According to The Hill, Biden and Trump will make “dueling visits” to the border, amid what has become the worst border invasion the country has ever seen.
